Area Maps

Is there a way of doing batch uploading? I am planning to upload the various area map images from the LMdatabase and I really don't want to spend 5 hours uploading 1 file at time. Azsedcf 06:38, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Are you still doing the maps? I though it was abandoned, but I see that you posted recently. I have Dimensional Corridor mapped with notes of what containers have and things like pedestals (what they do), chests (what they have), and sages. I also have sub-bosses showing where relevant. New Sections

Hey DC, what is the difference between Collectibles, Ammo, and Equipment? I know that ammo is for the sub-weapons but then what are the Collectibles for? Aren't the Collectibles for the upper portion of the item screen? If that is the case then what is the Equipment?Azsedcf 19:23, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Equipment falls under things like Anchors and Lamps and basically anything that isn't Ammo or a Weapon or a Seal or a Collectible. A collectible is something you constantly collect, like Coins or Weights, or Ankh and Life Jewels. Not as constant on the last 2 but they honestly don't fit as Ammo or equipment. Ammo is pretty self explanatory, it fuels weapons. Just my take on it. --DeceasedCrab 10:34, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

I was wondering of it was really necessary to have Ammo and Sub-Weapons seperated, since one normally doesn't go without the other, except for shields and the Misc.-Subweapons, right? Bug

There seems to be a bug floating around the game.

Although you have the Game Master ROM cartdrige, you cannot save nor load anymore. And, if you go out of the old man's hut, your whip and sub-weapon ammo dissapear, enemies become invincible, and you can destroy pots with your fists in a single hit.

Help.

Have you tried starting a new game? If it's just your save that's screwed up, upload it! I want to take a look at it --Xelpud 05:54, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Err, the problem is that if I start again, I still can't save the game. BTW, the bug dissapeared magically five days later. I swear I didn't touch anything. And I can't upload anything because I trashed the savegame. --Guest 09:08, 16 September 2008 (GMT)

I say a better way to handle this issue is to make the entire wiki disallow edits from unregistered users, and force a captcha on register. But that's just me (though it does happen to work quite nicely). --GreyMario 18:30, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

So I was bored at work today and decided to read some random pages from the wiki, and was shocked at the amount of content there was. It was then I realized I should really thank you all for the awesome work you've done! guidance gate

i've done everything i can think to do. i've been to several other fields and can't figure out how to make the ankh jewel appear in the guidance gate. i also can't find a description of what to do online, and noticed it was missing at the guidance gate page here. andybody know how to help? my girlfriend called me a dork for posting this, but whatever..

Project Hint

I've been browsing around the site, userless, occasionally editing things that sound slightly wrong or adding content and have noticed something. Within the site theirs the most vauge form of help (telling you how to tackle to game) and the most in-depth for of help (the soloutions) but no in-between. This means if someone struggles to solve a certain riddle, they cannot solve it as they are either told the soloution - not giving them the chance to solve it - or can't put their head around the soloution. I was thinking of above each soloution for the items, we could add their respective hint (if any) within the game. As well as the hint, we could write below how they're supposed to be interpreted nearer to the solotion, that way people can at least be steered in the right direction without missing out on the enjoyment of solving a riddle. --That Guy 00:52, 18 June 2010 (GMT)

Key Fairy Combination

In "Spring of the Sky - D5" I discovered that a ROM combination of "Diviner Sensation" and "Ruins RAM 8K" summons a key fairy. Could someone confirm this and add it to the MSX ROMs section if it is a new information?

What I meant was that I thought I had discovered another possible combination , because I had "Diviner Sensation" and "Ruins RAM 8K" equipped and when I touched the fairy sparkle a key fairy appeared. However I just tried this combination again and a normal fairy appeared so I think it might have been a bug. When it happened I didn´t even have "Q-Bert".
